JOSCON Tasmania is a partnership between two Tasmanians who are passionate about people and giving back to the community that has given them so much.
Josef Chromy AO is one of the most significant figures in Tasmania’s food, wine, tourism and property industries. He is also Founding Director of the JAC Group, which is one of the state’s largest land developers. Joe escaped his war-torn Czech village in 1950 as a penniless refugee, and used his skills as a Master Butcher and Smallgoods Maker to build a successful meat export business before investing in Tasmania’s fledgling wine industry and property development.
Scott Wilson, our CEO/Director, shares Joe’s passion for investing in Tasmania. Having hundreds of homes built under his building license over many years, Scott has gained significant experience in residential construction. For Scott, JOSCON Tasmania is about creating high quality homes and making a positive contribution to the lives of everyone he works with.
